DVD ExtrasEach Series of Spooks is available as a DVD Boxset which is issued in Region 1 (US), Region 2 (UK) and Region 4 (Australia) formats. Unlike most other British TV shows, Spooks DVD Boxsets come with a lot of extras which give additional information on the subject matter dealt with in the show, its cast and characters as well as behind the scene materials.
The DVD Boxsets for Series 1 and 2 contain a menu which is rather difficult to navigate and take some getting used to. For the Region 1 Boxsets, an insert is included which sets out an explanatory map showing where each of the extra features can be found, as well as a voiceover track which guides you as your mouseover each of the items on the desk.
The DVD Boxsets for Series 3 and 4 contain a slightly improved main menu which made navigate a lot easier. The DVD Boxsets for Series 5, 6 and 7 are different again and much more straighforward to navigate.
Except where indicated, these extras are the same for all Region formats.(
Spooks is renamed "MI-5" for the US market.)
